Sunday, September 7th will be Homecoming Sunday and the start of Sunday School. The deacons will sponsor their annual barbeque following the worship service. Sign-up sheets will be on the Opportunity Table as the date gets closer, but plan to join with your family and friends at Pilgrim Church for this fun-filled celebration of the start of our new church year.

DIACONATE FUND RAISER: The Diaconate will again be selling Rada Cutlery this pre-Christmas season. A table is set up in Fellowship Hall today to display some of the new items and the latest catalogue. Besides cutlery, Rada also offers cookbooks, stoneware, quick-mixes for dips, breads and soups. Products may also be ordered online.

As in past years, the deacons will have two Christmas greeting trees available in the Narthex and Fellowship Hall. Beginning Sunday, December 2nd, stop by and sign a card of greeting to your friends and fellow Pilgrim Church members. The cards are displayed on the tree throughout the Christmas Season and your greetings will be listed in the bulletin each Sunday. Donations to the Deacon’s Fund, which is used to provide fellowship opportunities for the church family and to help those in need, are greatly appreciated at this time.
