Welcome to Pilgrim Church! Visitors are always welcome. Our family service is held every Sunday at 9:30 AM. Sunday school is available during the public school calendar. Communion is performed on the first Sunday of every month.

GOOD THINGS FOR SUMMER

Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in the flow of things. If everyone is having a second piece of pie, or more strawberry shortcake, why not? If everyone in my circle of friends has a brand new and fashionable jacket, somehow I feel left behind if I don’t have one just like it, too. What about the newest cell phone? It seems as if they come out with a new one daily. Do you have the best plan that goes with it? Do you have a big flat screen TV?

OPEN HOUSE AT THE ALDERMANS

Rev. Keith and Penny cordially invite our church family and friends to our annual Open House at our home. Please see the December bulletins for directions.

THANKSGIVING PAGEANT

THANKSGIVING PAGEANT

Children in grades Pre-K through 4 will participate in a Thanksgiving mini-pageant during the Children’s Moment on November 22nd. They will proceed up the aisles wearing pilgrim hats and carrying canned goods to donate to the food pantry. They’ll then perform a song they’ve been rehearsing during Sunday school and a prayer will be read by members of the Confirmation class.

Women's "Sweet Life Cafe" Retreat

Planning is in its last stages for the annual Fall Women’s Retreat at Craigville Conference Center. Please call Beth Ortega or e-mail her with any questions. The women will leave Friday afternoon, Nov. 20 and will return on Sunday, Nov. 22nd.

FRIENDSHIP SUNDAY

FRIENDSHIP SUNDAY
Sunday, November 29, has been selected as Friendship Sunday. What better time of the year than the Advent season to invite a friend to experience the anticipation and beauty that we at Pilgrim Church behold on the Sunday designated as “The Hanging of the Greens Service.” Please begin to plan now to invite a colleague, a neighbor, a friend, or a relative to be embraced by the spiritual family here at Pilgrim.

WOMEN'S BOOK BASH

Fall finds us busily scurrying around preparing for the upcoming holidays while trying to read our books in time for the Book Bash. November’s read is a heartwarming story about a woman and her losses and gains by another of our previous authors. The book we will discuss is "Home Safe" by Elizabeth Berg.
We will meet at the home of Deb Peretti from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Come join us on Sunday, November 15, 2009 to share your thoughts and feelings with other women of the church. Call Beth Lyle if you have any questions or need a ride.
