Field Trip for Youth Group and Anyone Interested-Museum of Russian Icons

Come see more than 300 icons that span six centuries from the 15th century to the present! See how they were created, learn about the Roman and Byzantine cultures, as well as world culture, and view the art created for spiritual enlightenment. Leave the church by 11:30 a.m. and arrive at the museum at 12:00 noon to receive your own audio guided tour. Take up to two hours to see everything. Gift Shop, Library and Cafe available if you wish to browse/eat. Leave about 2:30 and find a McDonald's to have lunch. Arrive back at the church at approximately 3:30 p.m. Cost is $4.00 per person. Children under 16 are free. Seniors are asked for a voluntary donation. The museum is ADA accessible. Please sign up in Fellowship Hall. For more details, see Karen McNall or Cheryl Slattery.
