Pilgrim Congregational Church will host a free bell concert in the church sanctuary on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 7:00 P.M.  The Merrimack Valley Ringers have been performing five years and have grown to a full complement of 15 ringers.  The members rehearse many hours and some of the ringers travel two hours to practice.  Their repertoire includes pieces that are classical and contemporary, using bells, hand chimes, and a variety of percussion instruments.  This is the ensembles' third performance in Leominster.  Other concerts are given at Fanueil Hall, Boston, as well as at several other communities in Massachusetts, and in Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Maine.  All are invited.  A free will offering will be taken.  For more information call Pilgrim Congregational Church at 978-534-5164.
