Welcome to Pilgrim Church! Visitors are always welcome. Our family service is held every Sunday at 9:30 AM. Sunday school is available during the public school calendar. Communion is performed on the first Sunday of every month.
TO BE TRUE
There is an old song with the words, “What the world needs now, is love, sweet love.” How true. But I believe what the world needs to set love in motion is Honesty. Honesty with oneself, and honesty with others.
Honesty. It can be a scarce commodity in a political season. John Adams once said that in an election year it is a good thing not to trade one set of imposters for another. Wise and true words for any age.
WOMEN'S BOOK BASH
All interested women are invited to meet at the home of Karen McNall on Sunday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the book "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson.
Calling All Women!
IMPORTANT MEETING! I am holding a very important meeting for all women interested in attending the Women's Retreat Weekend in November. Please save Sunday, June 8th as the date to meet in the parlor upstairs in the Christian Education area directly after Fellowship at approximately 11:05 a.m. to discuss our focus choices and the details of finances, accommodations, and commitments.

Holy Land Pilgrimage through Pictures
Rev. Dr. Keith C. Alderman, Pastor of Pilgrim Congregational Church UCC will present a slide show of his recent trip to the Holy Land. Rev. Alderman was awarded a study scholarship through the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar and the Appendant Orders of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, a Masonic organization. His ten- day trip took him to Tel Aviv, Caesarea, the Sea of Galilee, Masada and the Dead Sea area, and the city of Jerusalem.
Easter Bake Sale
Again this year, the Missions Committee will sponsor an Easter Bake Sale. The sale will be held immediately after church services on Easter Sunday. Everyone is encouraged to donate a baked good(s) for this bake sale, and of course, buy something as well!
A sign-up sheet is on the Opportunity Table in Fellowship Hall if you would like to indicate what baked good(s) you will provide.
Maundy Thursday Activities
On Thursday, March 20, at 6:30 p.m., there will be an Agape Meal (soup and simple supper, similar to what Jesus and his disciples had at the Last Supper). At 7:00 p.m., there will be a Service of Tenebrae with Communion, followed by the stripping of the altar. Please join us for this very meaningful service.
