Welcome to Pilgrim Church! Visitors are always welcome. Our family service is held every Sunday at 9:30 AM. Sunday school is available during the public school calendar. Communion is performed on the first Sunday of every month.

THE THREE DAYS....WHICH MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.

There are some days which seem different than others. For American people, The Fourth of July is such a day. Memorial Day is such a day, too, with its parades and speeches. Labor Day means the end of summer. Thanksgiving is a day in which we often have a gathering and a good meal. Christmas Day is one in which the culture stops and perhaps is peaceful for a few hours. Perhaps your birthday is a special day for you, or your anniversary, or the day in which you graduated from school. There are other days which seem to be weightier than others.

WOMEN'S BOOK BASH

11 Apr 2010 - 6:30pm

Following on the heels of the emotional discussions generated by Sarah’s Key which was set in WWII Paris, we return to the same topic – dealing with the “Jewish Problem” -- this time from the perspective of the German people during the same time period. Our April selection, The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, is a heart-warming yet disturbing story that will trigger many emotions in the reader. It’s a book that at first may be difficult to grasp, but once into it you won’t want to put it down.

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS GOD?

This is the title of a booklet of devotions which will be used in this year's Lenten Study. Join Rev. Keith as he helps us answer the questions we often have about how our God meets us on this path we call life.
The Lenten study is on Tuesday evenings during Lent. The first session was well attended, with 10 people in attendance. The group meets at 7:30 p.m. Feel free to come to any of the sessions.

ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE OF HEALING

17 Feb 2010 - 7:00pm

Rev. Dr. Keith C. Alderman will lead a service of healing on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 17th. Worshipers are urged to write their problems/guilts/worries on slips of paper, which are then folded and placed in the collection plates. Later in the service, the papers will be burned and those ashes, as well as ashes from last year's palms, will be mixed with oil. Worshipers are then invited forward to receive the sign of the cross on their hands.
The Senior Choir will be singing an anthem during this very meaningful service.
All are welcome to attend.
